My name is Hannah Atkinson. I currently live in Richmond, VA, and I am the founder of Sea Oat & Post Marketing services.

I am a JMU alum with a bachelor’s in English and a minor in Creative Writing. I have previously worked in sales for a wine & spirit distributor doing business to business product placement. I worked daily with business owners ranging from small local businesses like restaurants, medium-sized golf clubs and community-based organizations, to large national chains for brand promotions and revenue generation.

Additionally, with  my former sales background, I have worked with digital marketing design implementation and coordination for customers  which includes work on menus, posters, table tents, flyers, and other branded accessories.

Why did I create this business?

Unless you are a liquor store owner or your company sells primarily beverages, the spotlight on drinks seems to fall on the back burner in comparison to the main event and sometimes higher revenue margin source : Food.

And even if you are a business that is primarily beverage revenue driven, the beverage competition keeps growing by the day, yet when it all comes down to it, this fact does NOT dictate the quality of the drinks you have curated or the ones that you actively sell.

Many potential customers & even existing customers unconsciously hold a bias for inputting more value into a product they can re-use and hold onto or hot food on a plate than a drink that they sip .

But as you know, there is real chemistry , flavor balancing, and research needed into making a great drink. My company therefore is founded on the belief that that your drink is just as special as the burger on their plate and I want to help you get there and/or continue the momentum of it.
